Who should be issued a Udyog Aadhar?
Every form of business, in theory, is eligible for the Udyog Aadhar and can apply if they like. A Hindu Undivided Family (HUF), a proprietorship, a one-person company (OPC), or any other business structure could be used.

Udyog Aadhar Memorandum
- The Udyog Aadhar memorandum is a one-page registration form on which the MSME acknowledges its existence, bank account information, aadhar card details, and other information such as pan card details. Udyog Aadhar Memorandum (UAM) is a declaration format that is independent of the Udyog Aadhar.
- The Udyog Aadhar can be submitted for free; there is no filing fee for the Udyog Aadhar.
- After submitting the form, a Udyog Aadhar Acknowledgement number is generated and emailed to the e-mail address indicated in the Memorandum, along with the Udyog Aadhar Number (UAN)
- The UAM is filed on a self-declaration basis, and no supporting documentation is necessary in most cases.
Registration for Udyog Aadhar
The registration and filing processes for Udyog Aadhar are both straightforward..

- Fill in your personal information.
- Name, 12-digit personal Aadhar number, and Enter your cell phone number are the required fields.
- To validate and generate an OTP, click the “Validate and Generate OTP” option.
- An OTP will be sent to the phone number you supplied.
- Enter your OTP and select one of the following social categories: General, SC, ST, or OBC.
- Information on the Company/Identity: The name under which the brand is known to the general audience.
- The option to choose between Enterprise-1 and Enterprise-2 as well as the type of organization.
- Details of the correspondence Provide the company’s/complete enterprise’s postal address, including information such as the registered address’s pin code and district.
- Information should be sent on The day on which the company began operating.
- Bank Account Information Information about a bank account, such as the applicable branch’s IFSC code. The bank’s website has this information readily available.
- Classification of Businesses
- The principal services offered by the company are grouped into two categories: services and manufacturing.
- Choose the one that is your company’s principal activity.
- Investing Total Information such as the total number of employees employed by the company and the total investment made in the company (in lakhs) are included.
- Accepting the declaration and selecting District Industry Centre. The district industry center will be chosen from a drop-down menu. To finish the process, you must accept the declaration and submit your application.
- Finally, an acknowledgment number will be assigned to you.
